Counselor |
Assists residents to develop
Individual Service Plans and work toward goal attainment in areas
of living skills, medication management, self advocacy, symptom
management, crisis intervention, community integration, substance
abuse prevention and socialization. Transportation is
involved. |
Full time: usually involves some
evening hours and one weekend day
Part Time: most positions are
weekends only |

ADL Counselor |
Assists residents to develop skills
in Activities of Daily Living such as cooking, cleaning, money
management, shopping, recreation, etc. Transportation is
involved. |
Full time: usually involves some
evening hours and one weekend day
Part Time: most positions are
weekends only |

Night Counselor |
Monitors and assists residents as
needed overnight. May involve awake or asleep shifts. Responsible
for conducting census checks, monitoring residents' ingestion of
medication and other duties. |
Shifts start at either 10:00 pm or
11:00 pm and go until 7:00-10:00 the next morning ,
dependent on the site.
Full and part time positions

HHB Programs
(working with the homeless and/or
persons with HIV/AIDS)

Shelter
Case Manager |
Assists families to obtain and
maintain benefits, search for housing, develop life skills,
connect with community resources, obtain medical and treatment
services, etc. |
Full time: usually involves some
evening hours and one weekend day
Part Time: most positions are
weekends only |

Shelter Worker |
Assists residents with developing
life skills, enforces shelter rules, sorts and stores donations,
provides transportation, oversees cooking and chore completion,
etc. |
Full time: mostly evening hours, and
usually involves a weekend day
Part time: mostly weekends |

Night Shelter Worker |
Monitors and assists residents as
needed overnight. May involve awake or asleep shifts. Responsible
for conducting census checks, enforcing shelter rules, and
assisting families with life skill development. |

Housing Specialist |
Focuses on helping homeless families
find permanent housing. Researches available apartments,
counsels on available assistance programs and acts as liaison to
local realtors. |
Full time.
Involves one weekend day and some
evening hours. |

Village Case Manager |
Assists individuals and families
with HIV/AIDS to maintain their housing, develop life skills,
obtain community resources, etc. May also work with
psychiatrically disabled. |
Full/part time available. At least
one weekend day is usually involved. |
